Andy Rubin bestätigt “Nexus 3″

Google SVP of Mobile Andy Rubin hat bestätigt, dass es ein weiteres Nexus-Gerät geben wird. Eine entsprechende Ankündigung wird es irgendwann in der Zukunft geben. Sein genauer Wortlaut:

The Nexus has been the thing that we used to set the bar, and there’s always going to be new ones coming out in the market…we’ll make an announcement at some point in the future.

Mehr als Spekulationen zu dem Gerät gibt es natürlich nicht. So wurde ja auch schon über ein Nexus Tablet gemunkelt. Außerdem wäre auch ein Nexus S mit Dual-Core oder gar Quad-Core-Prozessor möglich. Eine weitere Spekulation wäre, dass das nächste Nexus-Gerät mit Android Ice Cream auf den Markt kommt. Das wäre dann frühestens im viertem Quartal.
