Intel zeigt Android-Smartphone mit Intel Atom-Prozessor

Wir haben bereits gestern davon berichtet, dass eine Android Gingerbread-Version für Intel Atom E-Prozessoren im Januar 2012 veröffentlicht werden soll. Während einer Keynote hat Intel-CEO Paul Otellini bereits ein Android Gingerbread-Smartphone mit Intel-Prozessor gezückt.

Auch Google scheint an dieser Entwicklung gelegen zu sein. So hat sich auch Andy Rubin (Senior Vice President of Mobile at Google) zur Zusammenarbeit geäußert:

Combining Android with Intel’s low power smartphone roadmap opens up more opportunity for innovation and choice. This collaboration will drive the Android ecosystem forward.
