Motorola Droid 2.1 Update noch in dieser Woche

Erst vor ein paar Stunden gab es erste Informationen zum 2.1-Update des Droid, nun hat Motorola auf Facebook das Android 2.1-Update für das Motorola Droid offiziell für diese Woche angekündigt:

Hi all– we know you are frustrated with the lack of details regarding Android software upgrades and we sincerely apologize for not being able to share info sooner. We’re happy to relay the 2.1 upgrade to DROID will start to roll out this week, and we will have more information to share on other device upgrades later …

Man könnte fast den Eindruck bekommen, man habe nur darauf gewartet, zumindest das 2.0.1-Update für das Milestone rauszubringen, bevor 2.1 für das Droid folgt. Ich bin mal gespannt wie lange es nun dauert, bis auch das Milestone die Android-Version 2.1 erhält.
